Also known as: Broad-leaved Willow Herb, Arctic Fireweed, Dwarf Fireweed, River Beauty. Habitat: River bars, damp hillsides and roadsides; Arctic and alpine. Interest: Member of the Evening Primrose family. This is a circumpolar, northern hemisphere plant. The flowers are hermaphrodite (have both male and female organs) and are pollinated by Bees.
