Also known as: Silky phacelia General: Perennial; erect stems up to 40 cm tall;alternate feathery leaves; blue-violet funnel-shaped flower with yellow-tipped stamens that stick out; many flowers occur as a dense bottle-brush-like form on the stems. Habitat: Dry, rocky, open areas; montane to alpine.
