Alvar Wildflower Posters: Offered for sale are posters that illustrate some of the flowering plants that occur on alvars located on Manitoulin Island. Note that the Internet does not come close in showing the color and detail of the original images. The prints are made using a Canon Pro9000 inkjet printer and Canon photographic paper. The quality of the output is excellent and light stable. This combination produces an image that can resist fading for up to 100 years when stored in an archival quality photo album, which rivals that of many traditional film based photos. Prints produced on Canon Photo Paper with Canon inks have an up to ten-year light fastness when exposed to open air and up to 30-year lightfastness when displayed under glass. The poster image size is 13 x 19 inches including a small white margin left to facilitate framing. Other output options are available upon request. Contact me by email regarding your request.
