Also known as: Roseroot, Rose root, Rose sedum. Habitat: Moist, rocky alpine areas and gravelly beaches. Interest: This is a succulent perennial up to 35 cm tall. The fleshy leaves are alternate, 1-4 cm long, and spoon-shaped. The reddish purple flowers (male) occur in a dense terminal cluster. The female flowers are yellow in colour.
