Also known as: Arctic White Heather.

Habitat: Rocky slopes in alpine meadows and tundra above the treeline.

Interest: White Mountain Heather is actually a low-growing evergreen shrub. The white flowers are bell-shapes and occur at the tips of the branches. It is a circumpolar plant.

Location: Montana Mountain, Carcross, Yukon.
