Also known as: Arctic sweet coltsfoot, Arctic Butterbur, Sweet Coltsfoot. Habitat: Moist subalpine slopes. Interest: The pinkish-coloured flowers bloom before the leaves appear. Several flower heads occur at the end of a flower stalk. The leaves are large, green, palmately divided that look like a horse's foot. Flower colour: Pinkish
